"This place met our expectations and then some. We loved the warmth, the layout, the décor, everything. Plus, we were welcomed with some delicious treats and champagne!
We loved the kitchen and spent too much time in there. The front room was so cozy. We enjoyed relaxing in the private garden looking at the stars. Our bed was very comfortable, which is a plus when you’re traveling from overseas.
The amenities are numerous, things that other places might not include.
• I think I let out a little scream of joy when I saw the small oscillating fan in the wardrobe. (I need real white noise when I sleep, not that stuff you can get on apps.)
• Extra pillows in case you need them (which we do).
• Those little luggage racks? They had those too.
• Heated towel racks.
• A binder full of local suggestions: restaurants, pubs, religious services, and more. Wonderful!
• And so much more!

"The Parisi Townhouse was absolutely perfect in every way!! Our family of five adults stayed for 3 nights to see the sites in York. There was plenty of room for 3 tall guys (tall ceilings & doorways). The beds (and pillows) were very comfortable & the king beds are US king size. There was plenty of common space for us all to hang out - kitchen, library/family room, large garden. Room darkening curtains and fan in every bedroom. Included parking was great! Awesome location - walkable to everything, but nice a quiet. LOVE that 4 throw blankets were provided in the family room (rare to even have 1 in most airbnbs). Maria & Sophie are fantastic hosts - super responsive & left the best instructions (with photos) for everything in the house. They anticipated and fulfilled every need we had. We so appreciated the cake, Prosecco, milk and coffee beans they provided, as well as laundry detergent. Don’t look for any other place to stay in York - this is truly perfect!!"

"We have stayed at a lot of Airbnbs in the States and the UK/Europe and this was by far the nicest one we have ever stayed at. The townhouse is amazing. It is hard to find hotels to accommodate families of 4, and this was so much better than renting two rooms at some generic chain. My daughters said they felt like royalty staying there. The rooms were immaculate, each one a different, cheery color scheme and luxurious on-suite baths. I could only dream of having a kitchen like the one at the townhouse. The location is spectacular, right across from a historic chapel and walkable to all of the City Centre. Again, cannot say enough good things about our stay. Thank you Maria and Sophie!"

"Our stay couldn't have been more lovely. Visited for two nights with six of us (including 2 kids & 2 grandparents). The location is incredible. Walkable (a minute or two) to loads of restaurants and coffee shops, and very easy access to the city center, the walls. The house itself is magical, and the hosts couldn't have been more helpful. They left us a really lovely welcome package including a cake (my children devoured) and lots of detailed info about the area. They reached out to let us know we could check out late if we wanted. They just went out of their way to make our stay wonderful, which it totally was. It was actually very rainy in York the days we happened to be there, and everyone enjoyed relaxing in the house, playing games (they have many), reading, etc. Highly recommend." |

"The Parisi townhouse was absolutely stunning. The beautiful photos don’t even do it justice. The home has parking and is in town center. We walked everywhere with absolute ease, including to the station. The owners Maria and Sophie are so so nice and very responsive. The house is stocked with absolutely anything you or your children could need. There is also multiple grocery stores a block or two away. We enjoyed playing games fireside in the evenings after a full day of touring. That stack of games was such a wonderful touch. The bedrooms were quiet and comfortable. Each with its own bathroom. The kitchen is massive and the living room fit our large family wonderfully. If you’re thinking of visiting York (and you definitely should) don’t hesitate to stay at the Parisi." |
